Plum Blossom is the 1920s salon set, drawn in fine ink-and-colour detail. The dots are paper parasols with a lady in a qipao on the 1 Dot, the bams are bamboo over a red lattice with a peacock on the 1 Bam, and the craks are red lanterns hung from plum branches. The winds are painted teapots, the dragons are a green and a red lion-dance head and a lattice frame, and the jokers are elegant 1920s ladies with fans. It has 16 flowers instead of 8: bouquets and playful animals, plus the four seasons and the four noble plants. The backs are a deep plum purple with teal and burgundy layered edges, so a wall of tiles looks like a lacquered screen.
